I read an interesting article today about the former CIO of Dell and PepsiCo, Jerry Gregoire, who is also a pilot. He started a new company by the name of Redbird.

Redbird uses inexpensive technologies to create FAA approved flight simulators that only cost $60,000 for the enclosed full-motion simulator (Redbird FMX) or $29,000 for a stationary non-enclosed simulator.

I was searching on Google tonight, for FAA Grants that may be available, when I came across the following news article. I was a bit blown away:

I was so surprised by this, I decided to go to the FAA Web site to cross check this. I found a press release confirming this was true:
